Search and Rescue

We know what it’s like, searching around fairs and antique centres for the items you love best. If you’re looking for specific items, either for your home or as a gift, it can be frustrating.

We understand the barriers: time, travel, negotiation, delivery. It’s not always easy sorting the good items from the not-so-good. We’re at it all the time, in our search for stock.

So, with that in mind, we’ve launched our ‘search and rescue’ service for clients. Tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll do the searching. We don’t mind how big or small the challenge is - we’ve sourced furniture items for homes and eclectic mixes for a coffee shop. The challenge is half the fun for us.

You set down the terms: what you want and how much you want to spend – and set a deadline if necessary.

We will offer advice. Some things might be rarer than you think, not what they appear, or beyond us at the price set. If we think it’s going to be tough, we’ll warn you.

We’ll then use our network of contacts and suppliers to track down your item(s) at the right price – and delivered on time.

Sometimes we can even offer a choice of items, and you’ll get more than a decade’s experience from us. And if we fail? Well, you don’t pay us a penny. The hours of searching are down to us.

The items we’re most called upon to find include antique, mid-century and vintage furniture; decorative items; mid-century lighting; artwork across all periods and taste; and ceramics, from the classical to contemporary studio pieces. But it doesn’t matter what you’re after. If we can get it for you, we will.
